OPEN acknowledges its Partners

 

OPEN has partnered with SiMODiSA, who aims to catalyse and amplify entrepreneurship in the South African Start up space. OPEN will become SiMODiSA official work & event space partner and offers members of SiMODiSA discounts and special offers at all OPEN locations across the country.


Orange Corners is a platform for entrepreneurs to learn, stimulate their creativity, grow their business and expand their professional network. It is an initiative of the Dutch Embassy.

OPEN is a founding partner of this initiative and provides space for Orange Corner entrepreneurs in Maboneng. Orange corners offers weekly workshops and other events to which OPEN members can participate.

 


Workshop17 has partnered with iXperience to provide the innovative campus from which their summer school programmes are run. As we continue to connect the between between work, learn and play, the iX core team is also based at Workshop17 full time.


OPEN has partnered with Rhiza Babuyele to support their business hubs in townships. At the moment two hubs are open, one in Diepsloot and one in Orange farm, a third and fourth one are in preparation. This alliance with Rhiza is helping OPEN to realise its vision to create a network of spaces and connecting communities across geographical, social and economical divides.


The partnership between Workshop17 and Standard Bank allows for a soft landing and innovative environment for start ups going through their incubation programme.


Creatives of all kinds now all head to Workshop17 for quartely meetups since the the Cape Town Dribbble Community partnered with Workshop17. With a shared desire create and collaborate, these meetups exist in perfect harmony with our community.


OPEN, along with the V&A Waterfront, have partnered to design, build and manage Workshop17. With the vision of developing solutions for Africa, the collaborative community of 400 members comprises of large organisations, corporates, startups and individuals alike.


OPEN has partnered with the dynamic and ever growing community of She Leads Africa as their venue and membership partner on a nation level, currently extending from Cape town to Johannesburg.

With a shared keen interest in the future of tech, Workshop17 partnered with Singularity University's South African Chapter as the host of these extraodanary events. Offering fresh and forward thinking perspectives to an already innovation community is what this partnership thrives on.


With a unique approach to sustainability through empowerment, entrepreneurship and education, The Sustainability Institute is a partner of Workshop17. The partnership exists as the provision of an additional space in team members, graduates and entrepreneurs working along side the institute may innovate, collaborate and create.


Workshop17 has partnered with mLab as the home for their Cape Town team and startups. All local meet ups and events organised for and by the mLab community are housed at Workshop17. From Dream Girls to Xamerin meet ups, we host them all.


With the shared vision to drive the technological growth in south Africa and beyond, Workshop17 and Kato global have joined forces. As the providers of the physical space in which meet ups and workshops can take place, W17 invites the Kato community to open interesting and dynamic conversations within our own community.


StartUp grind CPT is hosted at Workshop17 on a monthly basis. The partnership provides an engaging and entrepreneurial event location for the #StartCPT community



Workshop17 has partnered with Lionesses of Africa as the host of the Lionesses Lean In Breakfast sessions. These events are jointly hosted along side Standard Bank and the Lionesses of Africa team to bring together like minded, entrepreneurial African women.
